Stephen B Scott

Stephen B. Scott has illustrated titles such as Batman, X-Men Forever, JLA, Batman Confidential, Marvel Adventures Hulk and many others. During his eighteen-year career, he has worked for publishers such as DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Image, Dark Horse, IDW, Titan Comics and several independent publishers.

In addition to his work in comic books, Stephen has worked for television, cinema and, more recently, video games. His television work was seen in two episodes of the hit TV series Smallville during season six. The work for Smallville was entitled ‘Justice and Doom’, for which Stephen illustrated an entire episode and was called back to work on the final episode of the series. In addition, Stephen was approached by ABC Family’s hit series KYLE XY to illustrate a story linking seasons one and two.

In the world of cinema, Stephen was chosen to direct the only adaptation of the film Batman the Dark Knight, winner of an Oscar in 2008. His work was supervised and approved by the director Christopher Nolan. This work was part of the box set offered with the special Blu-ray edition of Batman Begins. In the same year, George Lucas also approved Stephen’s participation as an artist for Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods. This series, written by Rob Williams, was very popular with Indiana Jones fans all over the world. A large part of the works in the series was purchased by Mr Lucas himself and is now part of his permanent collection.
